There’s more than just Referrals

Referrals and Testimonials may be the cornerstones of the BNI principles but there are several other ways to get your business more business by using the power of BNI Resolute, Haverfordwest.  Valuable actions now may well lead to future referrals.  And isn’t that what we all want?

So here are a few more ideas on how to generate more interest in your business and pave the way for future referrals.

1) Get your fellow members to introduce to prospects. These means simply forming a relationship with people who may wish to use you in the future.  Not every relationship you work on should be to get  you immediate work, lay the foundations for a future working relationship by meeting people now.  When they need your services they will be more likely to use you then!

2) Written Testimonials – Get a fellow member to provide you with a written testimonial, in effect this will endorse you and your products by telling people what a great service you have provided.  Get them to share it on your social media, use your great service to advertise yourself! It just makes sense!

3) Display your Literature – Ask around and see if people would be willing and happy to display your information in their offices and meeting rooms.  Make sure your literature is interesting and informative so that people will be happy to display and be interested enough to pick it up.

4) Distribute your information.  If you’re a web developer, get  your IT specialists card and give it out to your customers who have IT problems.  Use your common sense and find a business which is related to  yours and find a way of sharing eachothers business in a way which makes sense.

Make sure you’re using the referral system as best you can.  By choosing and training your referral train properly you can really speed up the process of getting  those connections and transforming them into business.  Make sure to remember that creating this kind of relationship is a two way street and to help your fellow networkers.
